About Magyar's Manor
In the Beginning
Magyar's Manor is not your typical homestead. Our modern homesteading journey started a few years ago when we purchased our first home in Medina County, Ohio. We lived on a beautiful botanical property, where we honed our gardening and preserving skills as well as a true appreciation for all that the land has to offer us.
Soon we fell prey to the gateway animal of all homesteaders. CHICKENS! It is often joked about, however there is a 100% chance that chickens will lead to other animals. This opened our eyes to a larger property in a more rural location.
We invite you to share in our journey as we establish our new homestead in Wayne County, Ohio.
Grow with us as we share our experiences, adventures, and misadventures building a small sustainable farm focusing on preserving the past so that together we can shape our future.
